A.I.'s Editor-in-Chief graduated a couple years ago with a B.A. English-Writing. Aaron's top two healthiest hobbies include closely following Eastern and Western animation and writing/research. Interests:
Kelsey enjoys several different mediums of animation, the most prominent of which being Asian works. He also loves more mature Western animation, but still makes room for good old Saturday morning cartoons. He also is a fanatic video game player.

Duties:
Kelsey joined Animation Insider in May of 2004, and despite a almost year long hiatus, he has remained a dedicated and determined member of the AI comunity.

Kendall Lyons - News Staff

Interests:
Kendall is graduating from Oklahoma Chrisitan University in December, and is currently a Youth Minister.

Kendall also serves as a cartoon analyst, writing and reviewing about different animated shows you see on Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Disney, and works you see from independent animators.

Ever since Kendall was a kid he was actually analyzing cartoon characters from the dialogue to the gags to the storylines, but never bothered to write about them, until now!!

Kendall on his spare time does the obvious, watch alot of cartoons and just hangs out. On top of that, he also works as a News Assignments Editor / Writer for KFOR-TV Oklahoma's Newschannel 4.

Duties:
Kendall joined Animation Insider.net in January of 2005 to Review and Analyze animated shows of many types for all readers who are interested in a unique, new, and imaginative cartoon perspective.

A graduate of the University of Central Florida with a BA in English - Creative Writing, Kimberly has become exactly what adults back in high school warned her about: A starving artist. Times may be hard for creative people, but that hasn't stopped her passion for writing. Though her muse is currently off on an epic quest without her and refusing to write so much as a postcard back, Kimberly continues to try her hand at publishing a novel. Until then, she exercises her passion through freelance work.

Kimberly has been an avid fan of animation for her entire life, and discovered the world of Japanese animation (anime) back in high school. She can be found attending many Southeastern US anime and sci-fi conventions in cosplay and generally geeking out.

Matthew Thomas - Forum Administrator

Interests:
Matthew is a college graduate with a degree in theatre. He is an actor and a part of a Radio Theatre group that performs old radio shows, including "The Shadow", "Lights Out", and "Suspense!". He has been in productions of The Bald Soprano (Mr. Martin), Tartuffe (Valère), Inherit the Wind (Bert Cates), The Curious Savage (Jeff), The Maltese Falcon (Wilmer), Dark of the Moon (Mr. Allen), and the lead in the world premiere of Last Night (Avery). He is a member of The Lobby improv team.

He is a huge baseball fan and loves the Dodgers. He can sit and read baseball stats like they are some great work of fiction. Matthew also enjoys X-Men, the music of Queen, Alice Cooper, Metallica and The Who, as well as taking the Jeep off-roading.

He is currently engaged (to Dissonance).

Bryan does not currently attend any college, but will shortly. He was born in California, but after moved to Portland where he grew up and continues to live. Bryan's interests mostly include baseball, a Red Sox fan, animation, and comic books. He loves anything involving superheroes. Mostly the cartoons and comics. Some of his favorite comic book characters are Shadowcat, Deadpool, Jubilee, and Midnighter.

God said, "Let there be rock." And there Lisa was.

Lisa is a self-proclaimed comic nerd and her main fandom is the Fantastic Four. She is a diehard baseball fan. The San Francisco Giants are her boys, but she loves the Boston Red Sox too. She is currently attending community college and pursuing her goal of becoming a writer. She hopes to attend either SF State or Northridge (closer to her boyfriend, Matthew/Captain Walrus) eventually. Lisa also enjoys Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, music, the internet, Law & Order, Family Guy, and House. Lisa also regrets that Solano is incapable of eating metal.

Something stirs across the Atlantic ocean and it ain't pretty.

Chris is one of those people who doesn't want to get a life, because it feels as though he's trying to lead three already. From an early beginning on as a kid, Chris had a profound love for animation and it never went away, alas times have changed for in his home country it has become difficult to find the original quality cartoons that used to be so bounty full in the low lands. Thus it has become his quest to find the better animation outside the borders, and this how he came across Animation Insider.

There he enjoys discussing his favorite series such as Teen Titans, Avatar: "The Last Airbender" and Batman TAS/Beyond. During the daytime he is active as a logistical worker at the world's leading coffee machine manufacturing company.

As for other interests, Chris is a fanatical tabletop strategy gamer, he is also intrigued by ancient cultures & history, the latter mostly in the form of ancient and modern warfare. They do say terrible things comes in pairs as he also spends his time with his girlfriend who shares the same animation craze. When this does not take all of the time that is left, he loves to sit down and blow his frustrations away by painting or video gaming.

Currently Chris is considering in brushing up his German language skills.

Chris is a moderator in the Drawing and Art Forum, as well as in the Multimedia section and the Avatar: The Last Airbender Forum.

Solano's existence has never been fully proven and he is very bitter about this. Solano doesn't appear to have any actual skills. Solano regrets that he is incapable of eating metal. Important note: Solano does not like you.

Preston Smith - Forum Moderator

Interests:
Having a childhood in the 1980’s helped Preston develop a lifelong love of virtually all things animated, particularly those in the action genre. This love of animation in turn launched a long and somewhat boring trail across the interweb that eventually landed him at Animation Insider’s doorstep. Other interests include science fiction, superheroes, instrumental music, and RPGs. Although he will proudly admit that he has never pnp’d or LARP’d in his life.

Preston also devotes a small portion of his life to helping maintaining Cody’s site: ANX Toonami. Currently he is attempting to make Cody’s hair fall out through sheer frustration.

Preston is also a founding member of Animation Insider.

Duties:
At Animation Insider, Preston moderates the ANX Toonami forum along with all its sub-forums. And for reasons he’s not quite sure of Preston has also been suckered into creating Adult Swim Action talkback threads for Cody on the Adult Swim forum.

It is now covering the DC Universe line of Direct to Video Movies and the soon to release DC Showcase.

Cody Silfies - Animation Insider Founder

Interests:
A graduate from New England Institute of Technology with his Associates in Multimedia and Web Development Technology, Cody's interests lie specifically within the technological aspects of art; only further proven by his undying interest and obsession with computer animation. The possibilities of creating a whole new world or visual treat in a digital realm is a prospect Cody continually likes to explore, test, and create. He shares an admiration and love for all forms of animation, and works at Animation Insider with the hopes of connecting with people who feel the same.

On his down-time, Cody finds himself neck-deep in time intensive art projects. While as of late he has dabbled in 3D art, such as sculpture and other installation art, his strengths mostly lie in a 2D medium. He is currently enrolled in school at the University of Vermont working towards his bachelors in Studio Art and minor in Sociology. He loves Pop Culture. Yum.

Vincent Benenati - Animation Insider Founder

Vincent Benenati was born and raised on Long Island in New York. The eldest of six children, he is currently attending Seton Hall University, majoring in media communications. Hobbies include writing, watching countless movies, listening to music, and posting on the Animation Insider message forums.
